Everruns is a **durable agentic harness engine** built on Rust. It provides APIs for managing agents, sessions, and long-running tasks, with real-time SSE event streaming and PostgreSQL-backed durability.

Use it in one of three ways: embed the [Framework](https://everruns.com/docs/framework/) in a Rust application, run the Platform yourself, or use [Everruns Cloud](https://everruns.com/docs/getting-started/cloud/) and let Everruns operate it. [Start here](https://everruns.com/docs/getting-started/introduction/) compares the three.

## Choose how you run Everruns

[Framework](https://everruns.com/docs/framework/quickstart/) — Build and run agents inside a Rust process with the everruns crate. Nothing else to deploy.

[Self-hosted](https://everruns.com/docs/getting-started/docker-compose/) — Run the Platform (API, workers, PostgreSQL, UI) on infrastructure you control, starting with Docker Compose.

[Everruns Cloud](https://everruns.com/docs/getting-started/cloud/) — Use the Platform at app.everruns.com without running it. A built-in model provider and $5 of starter credit; your own provider keys are optional.

## What kind of help do you need?

[Learn: Tutorials](https://everruns.com/docs/tutorials/run-an-agent/) — Step-by-step lessons that end with a running agent. Start here if you're new.

[Do: How-to guides](https://everruns.com/docs/how-to/) — Task-oriented recipes for common problems. Use these when you know what you want to build.

[Understand: Explanation](https://everruns.com/docs/explanation/) — Background and design rationale. Read these when reference docs aren't enough on their own.

[Look up: Reference](https://everruns.com/docs/api/) — API endpoints, event types, capability catalog, CLI flags, environment variables.

## Popular destinations
